Privacy Policy
DEX Builds ("we," "us") is a web design and marketing studio. This policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, and the choices you have. We keep it in plain English on purpose.
Information we collect
- Contact information you send us — name, email address, phone number, business name — when you email us or fill out an intake form.
- Project materials you provide for your website or marketing — text, images, brand assets, pricing, business details.
- Connected account tokens. If you use our Growth Plan, you connect your social accounts through each platform's official login (OAuth). We receive and store only revocable access tokens — we never receive or store your passwords. You can revoke access at any time from the platform's own settings.
- Payment records. Payments are processed by Stripe. We see transaction records (amount, date, status) but never your full card number.
- Basic technical logs when you visit this site (IP address, browser type, pages viewed) for security and debugging. We do not run advertising trackers.
How we use it
- To deliver the services you hired us for — building your site, creating and scheduling content, responding to reviews, sending newsletters on your behalf.
- To communicate with you about your project.
- To bill you and keep required financial records.
- To keep our systems secure.
Automated processing
Our production process uses advanced automation, including AI systems and third-party AI model providers (such as Anthropic), to help produce your deliverables; all work is reviewed and approved before it reaches you. We do not use your private project materials to train models, and we do not sell your data to anyone.
What we share, and with whom
- Service providers we use to operate: hosting (Cloudflare), email delivery (Resend), payments (Stripe), AI model providers (e.g., Anthropic), and the social platforms you explicitly connect. Each receives only what it needs to do its job.
- No data sales. No ad networks. No brokers.
- We may disclose information if the law requires it.
Retention
Project materials are kept while you're a client and for up to 12 months after, so revisions and restores stay possible; you can request earlier deletion. Financial records are kept as long as tax law requires. OAuth tokens are deleted when you disconnect an account or end service.
Your rights
You can request a copy of the information we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it (subject to legal record-keeping requirements). Email hello@dexbuilds.com and a human will be involved in handling every such request.
Children
Our services are for businesses and are not directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly collect children's information.
Changes
If this policy changes materially, we'll update the date above and note the change prominently on this page.
