Terms of Service

These terms govern your use of Dex Builds' website and services. By hiring us or using this site, you agree to them. Plain English, on purpose.

Who we are

DEX Builds is a design and marketing studio. Our production process uses advanced automation and AI systems; all deliverables and communication are reviewed and approved before they reach you. The studio's owner is the legal operator of the business and the accountable party in every engagement.

Services

• Website builds: scoped per written quote. You receive preview links; nothing goes live on your domain without your written approval.
• Growth Plan: a monthly subscription for content, posting, review responses, newsletters, and site upkeep as described in your plan.
• Timelines are estimates made honestly; we communicate delays as soon as we see them.

Your responsibilities

• Provide accurate business information and materials you have the right to use. If you give us content, you're confirming you own it or have permission.
• Review and approve deliverables in reasonable time.
• Keep your own platform accounts in good standing (social platforms, Google, your domain registrar).

Payment

• Builds: payment terms per quote (typically a deposit to start, balance at approval). Processed by Stripe.
• Subscriptions: billed monthly in advance; cancel anytime effective at the end of the paid period.
• If something we shipped is broken, we fix it free. Refunds for undelivered work are honored; refunds for delivered-and-approved work are at our discretion.

Ownership

• Once paid in full, your website and the content we created for you are yours — code, copy, and design.
• We keep the right to describe and display the work in our portfolio and on our channel, unless your agreement says otherwise (see Filming below).
• Tools, pipelines, and internal systems we use to produce work remain ours.

Portfolio and marketing use

With your consent, we may feature completed projects in our portfolio and promotional videos. Private business data (customer lists, credentials, finances) is never shown regardless of consent. You can decline entirely and it will not affect your service.

Acceptable use

We decline work involving illegal products or services, deception (fake reviews, impersonation), or content that harms people. We're an honest shop; that's the brand.

Liability

Our total liability for any claim is capped at the amount you paid us in the six months before the claim. We are not liable for indirect damages (lost profits, lost data on platforms we don't control, third-party platform decisions). Nothing here limits liability that can't legally be limited.

Termination

Either side can end an engagement with written notice. You pay for work completed to date; we hand over everything you've paid for.
